This is the ORIGINAL fragrance that was introduced by Jacques Bogart, Paris in 1988. The fragrance is DISCONTINUED and impossible to find. Furyo opens with a very sharp accord of laurel, bayleaf, and some rose...think spices, only this one is sharp. After an hour or so, this turns up the woody accords with a mild hand of civet. It is the civet that gives this one the trademark powdery touch. The scent stays pretty linear from here on and settles into soft notes of musk (primarily), amber, and some gritty tabac. The top notes are lavender, artemisia, coriander, and bergamot; the middle notes are jasmine, geranium, rose, and cinnamon; and the base notes are civet, amber, vetiver, and patchouli. This is for someone who admires scents like Costes (for red spices, laurel, and bay leaf), Kouros (for civet), and tobacco.
